BODY WORK

When i bought the Impreza 3 years back it was on merit of low mileage, full service history and sound mechanical condition. There were however a few cosmetic issues which i knew would niggle me over time, but the price i paid for the car reflected this quite well in my favour and all things considered, i'd make the same decision again - the car hasn't missed a beat to date :)

White van man clipped the front bumper last winter. It cost him a front end respray but at least it's stone chip free. Having removed the STi decals with the intension to replace them, i decided i quite like the 'fresh' look without them, so that's how it's staying.

October 2011 - New Bonnet Fitted
Since June there have been a few drama's with the body work, but as you can see i've managed to get the new bonnet fitted and ready for the paint shop, which is just as well because..... (Bottom left) White van man finds the bumper in a car park yet again, fortunately for some i didn't find him!.....(Top Right) Never trust a Polish man with a jet washer! The whole bonnet was due to be sprayed anyway so it's not a big deal. Hopefully the car will be back next week looking minty fresh. Watch this space!

While to car is at the body shop i've arranged with Lepsoms to collect the alloys for a much needed refurb. The salt and ice has taken it's toll causing the paint to peel off and the wheel nuts to rust. I've arranged for Lepsoms, Gillingham to collect the wheels from the body shop.

Back From The Paint Shop!

Classic Car Repairs, Leeds have done an amazing job on the bonnet. Barry removed chips and dents on the bonnet before handing over to the paint shop where it was blown into the wings for an even colour match. Finally, the scuff on the front bumper was polished out and blended in.
